After winning their last tournament, the CX debate team has advanced to the state tournament, where they will compete against the best teams in Texas. This tournament will be in Austin on March 22.

The members of the team who will advance are senior Katelyn Yim, junior Jake Turner, sophomore Caroline Erb and senior Madison Bunting.

The CX stands for Cross Examination, which means the debaters have to have a thorough knowledge of their topic, as they are questioned after their presentation of ideas. These students have been preparing all year through their debate classes with Coach Amber Wheeler.
