A World without The Beatles: Yesterday Review

A+World+without+The+Beatles%3A+Yesterday+Review

A freak power outage across the globe puts struggling songwriter Jack Malik in the hospital with a bus accident. He woke up to find out one of the most celebrated bands in the world never existed, The Beatles.

He starts performing The Beatles songs as his own. He becomes a global sensation almost overnight and gets a record deal working with Ed Sheeran to “fine-tune” Jack’s songs by changing songs such as ‘Hey Jude’ to ‘Hey Dude’. While he’s becoming famous, his childhood best friend and ex-agent Ellie Appleton keeps reminding him to let her into his heart. His guilty conscience gives him nightmares about being caught stealing The Beatles songs. A surprise twist reveals that he isn’t the only one who remembers The Beatles.

This movie was a good mix of Jack’s story and The Beatles’ history that fans of all ages can enjoy.
