Sophomore Maggie Bone has started her own business in which she embroiders “patches” on jeans. Customers bring in their clothing, and she adds designs for $5 a patch. She began her embroidering business earlier this year. It takes her about an hour for each design to be threaded since she does sew them by hand. “I love being creative and fashion is fun to me,” Bone said. “I started making the jeans because I would see the expensive jeans at the store and I said ‘I can make that,’ so I did. Others liked them as well, so that’s why I am doing custom jeans for them.”
