Bearcat Basketball closes season 2/13 at AHS
Bearcat basketball is 4-9 with 1 game left in District play. Although they had playoff hopes with Head Coach Fred Jones earlier in the season, a playoff spot is not possible this year. They are looking for some crowd support as they play their last game of the season against Saginaw Tuesday in the AHS gyms.
The team has had an up and down season led by 3-year senior starter Noah Arrington who’s been a key part to the successful side of this year’s play. “All of our players are playing as a team with one goal,” Noah said when asked what is different about this year.” “We are coming together to make something great. It’s all about hard work, and the results are showing.” The team keeps showing growth and signs for a bright future for the program.
