The regiment seniors celebrate one last feeling of going to State. The regiment went to Area at Birdville Stadium on Oct. 28. and won first place in prelims and second place in finals. The band was in the top three and is going to State in San Antonio on Wednesday, Nov. 8, to perform in the Alamodome at noon. Bands in Texas have the chance to go to State only once every two years.

“Being in the regiment and having a second family that loves me is amazing. Having one chance to go to State is one to never forget, but having two chances is unbelievable,” senior Lauren Barbeau said.

“Being in Colorguard and being a part of this band is something that will always stick with me. Teaching all these underclassmen and knowing they will carry this with them is important to me and to the band,” senior Mary McQuade said.
