The theatre department is hosting their annual spring musical starting tomorrow. The show will open on Jan. 24 and it will run through Jan. 27 in the auditorium.

Aledo Players and other students will be performing “Rock of Ages,” a musical featuring classic rock songs by Journey, Bon Jovi and more. This show has been highly anticipated among students and teachers, who have been waiting for another big production since last year’s beautiful and impressive “Big Fish.”

“Rock of Ages” is set in 1987 Hollywood and tells the story of a few people trying to save the dilapidated but legendary Bourbon Room club set to a soundtrack of classic rock. It will be energetic and exciting, but it will only run for three days, so students should make plans to see it.
