The Aledo Players hosted the annual haunted house at the high school the Saturday before Halloween. This event raised money for more productions throughout the school year, as well as allowed theatre students to demonstrate their creativity through their gory makeup and startling acting. The cost to attend was $5, and the large number of attendees allowed the fundraising event to be a success. This has been a staple of the Halloween season for the theatre department for years, and many of the people who chose to attend were high school students, acting as friends and supporters of their actor peers.
