On Oct. 20 the Aledo Claybusters attended a shooting competition at Defender Outdoors.

Although everyone from the team attended the competition they did not shoot all together; they were squaded up in small groups of three or four. While the group was squaded up they were also put in groups with shooters from other teams. The team had members scattered throughout the leaderboard.

Jacob Hale placed 4th in the Senior Men division, Luke Shelton placed 3rd in the Intermediate Men and William Allen placed 6th in the Junior Varsity Men.

The team will have another competition on Nov. 10 at Fort Worth trap and skeet.

Competitions are scheduled to happen a few times every month. Later in the season, the team will have the chance to go to San Antonio for the Midwest Regional shoot on June 15-16 and another shoot in Marengo, Ohio on July 13-20.
