Almost There; The boys and Girls Basketball Teams are in District Play

The boys’ basketball team beat Wichita Falls 56-39 Tuesday night on Jan. 19 at home, remaining undefeated in district play and advancing their record to 4-0. Junior Daniel Sohn led the team with 29 points. 

The Bearcats will take on the Brewer Bears 3-1 in an away game tonight, Jan 22. Junior varsity at 6:00 p.m. and varsity will play at 7:30 p.m

The girls basketball team won 41-28 against Wichita Falls and now have a record of  3-2 in district play. The Ladycats will play again tonight at home against the Brewer Lady Bears.  Junior varsity at 5 p.m. and varsity will play at 6:30 p.m. 

Last year at this point the boys were 9-7 overall, and the team ended up in the playoffs and second place in their division. The girls were 6-14 overall ending up third place in district last year and made the playoffs.

With only a few more weeks left in district both teams need to finish strong in order to secure a spot in the playoffs.
