The boys golf team travelled to the state contest May 20 and 21 at Whitewing GC Georgetown. 12 schools participated in the contest.

Aledo placed 12 overall in the contest. The golf team consisted of Evan Pennington, Ben Huxtable, Winston Meintjes, Doak Neill and Jacob Trawick. On the first day, Aledo finished with a total score of 340 and on the second day a score of 320.

Last year Aledo was unable to make the state competition in golf, but made it this year. The state golf competition was the last major sporting event until the next school year.
