The 8-1 varsity football team seeks to continue their dominance as they face the 7-3 Chisholm Trail High School in the first round of the playoffs, and athletes are confident they will rush the Rangers easily for a win.
“We believe were going to dominate, and it’s going to be pretty easy,” senior offensive tackle Donovyn Stevens, #58, said. “I think we will win. It’s going to be pretty easy, no sweat.”
Like his teammate said, senior safety Carson Percival, #36, said he expects a win over the Rangers because of the work they have put in this season.
“We will win because we put in the work and we deserve it more,” Percival said. “They’re will be some tears coming from the opponents eyes after the game.”
While senior defensive end Jayden McDonald said the Rangers “don’t stand a chance,” senior safety Tyler Wyss, #34, said the Bearcats intend to perform for the fans.
“We’re going to show out tonight at the Buc,” Wyss said.
