Theatre Department Makes Tribute to 9/11
Aledo Players presents “110 Stories,” a tribute to the heroes involved during the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center. This show will be presented in the auditorium on Oct. 13, 14, and 16 at 7 p.m. all three nights.
“110 Stories” is a show that is about the experiences of 26 people who survived 9/11. The theatre department decided to put on this show because of the 20th anniversary of 9/11 this year.
“It’s a bit more abstract and takes some inspiration from modern dance, but as it gets further along in the play it gets more intense,” senior Jacob Robbins said.
Tickets will be sold online on the InTouch system linked here: https://tx-aledo.intouchreceipting.com/signin. Students and senior citizens tickets cost $10 and adults cost $12.
“People should come and see it to support our theatre department and experience a unique take on 9/11,” Robbins said.
