Baseball Second To Last District Game
Aledo baseball played Wichita Falls Old High on Monday at Wichita Falls. Aledo won 12-0 with seven runs by the second inning. Zach Harrison, Sam Sisk, Parker Stegall and Creed Willems led the offensive onslaught.
In the third inning, Aledo scored three more points in which Wichita Falls responded with zero.
Carter Shands pitched for four innings, allowing zero runs and striking out four. Luke Paulsen threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Sisk and Willems led the Bearcats in runs.
The team averages .282 and six players are hitting over .300. The team is 19-7-2 overall and 8-1 in district.
The Bearcats will face Wichita Falls Old High again on Friday at 7 p.m. This will be Aledo’s senior and teacher recognition night.
