FFA Competes at Contest
UPDATE: The FFA Horse Judging Team competed at the State Competition and won. Team members include Caitlin Witte, Gabby Shultz, Daeleigh Patridge and Simone Keck. Witte, Shultz and Patridge were all High Point Individuals. Shultz was sixth and Patridge was fifteenth. All four qualified are to go to Nationals in October.
The FFA Chapter went to the Area IV Contest on April 17 and had four state qualifiers.
The Ag Sales team got first overall, which means they qualify for state, and they had two students in the Top Five Individuals: Cole Bohnen received first and Corbin Haber received third. Milk Quality received fifth overall, also qualifying for state. Nursery Landscape qualified for state in second place overall, with Connor Macy placing fourth in Top Five Individuals. Veterinary Science is going to state as well as they placed third overall and Justin Burrow received first in Top Five Individuals. Horse Judging received eighth overall, Livestock judging twenty-first overall, Farm Business Management thirteenth overall, Poultry twentieth overall and Floriculture tenth overall.
