Baseball on their Way to State

This week, JV baseball played a double header on Saturday against Wichita Falls and won both games. The first game was won 8-1 and the second game 16-8. JV baseball, Aiden Olenjack had 3 triples, Bridger Wilson had a ground rule double, Hampton Fay hit an inside the park homerun and Westin Mears got an at bat.

 

Aledo Varsity played Friday at home; they played against Wichita Falls Rider. The score was 6-3, with Aledo bringing home a win to start the playoff season. On Saturday, Aledo played away at Paschal High School against the Paschal Panthers and won 10-0. Hunter McConthany had a no hitter going into the 5th inning, Hayden Poston made his first appearance pitching coming back from a back surgery. Varsity’s next playoff game will be this Saturday at noon in Cleburne against Lubbock Monterey.
