The boys track team went to Lubbock April 26-27 to compete in the regional track meet. Overall, the boys team placed fourth, but had five runners advance to the state meet.

Graydon Morris took first in the 3200m and 1600m runs, Zach Morris took first in pole vaulting and the 4x100m relay team placed second overall. All of these athletes and teams will be advancing to the state meet in Austin.

The relay team consisted of Money Parks, Demarco Roberts, BJ Allen and Jase McClellan. The team broke the school record for the 4x100m relay with a time of 41.54 seconds.

The final track meet will be the state contest on May 10-11 held in Austin.
