Baseball Scrimmage Starts Season
On Feb. 13 the varsity baseball team tied 12-12 against Euless Trinity Trojans in Euless, and the JV team won 4-0 against the Trojans at home.
Varsity had a hard few innings with the scoring being 8-5 at the bottom of the 6th with Aledo losing. A home run was hit by Nathan Fingar in the varsity game. This home run was what varsity needed to tie up the game in the 12th inning. Aledo scored enough to end strong, catching up in the last few innings and tieing the game in the end.
The baseball team’s next scrimmage is against Boswell Feb. 16. Varsity will play in Boswell and JV will play at home. The games will start at 10 a.m. or noon TBA.
